Ive never gamed a better set of irons than the g410s

I bought one of these a few months back. It took me awhile to get used to it. It's a heavy club with a hot face. Once I learned how to control the ball of the face, it was a game-changer. My hdcp. has dropped 4 strokes. Reason: If I miss the green (usually do), I use the ChipR. I'm able to chip the ball close to the pin, so that usually leaves me with a one putt. Yesterday, I played 9 holes with my usual group. Even they said the club should be illegal. Out of 9 holes, the ChipR left me within 2 feet of the hole on 4 of them. Everyone wanted to try my ChipR after seeing what I could do with it. I didn't have any chip-ins from off the green, but over 18 holes, I usually have at least one chip-in. I usually don't make GIR and end up on the fringe. This club has me chipping within 2 feet for an easy up-and-down. For 9 holes on this course, I usually shoot 4-5 over. Yesterday, I shot 1 under, and that's not unusual anymore because of this club. Play back of stance, hit down on the ball (not too hard...heavy club). This puts some spin on the ball which will make it check. This club hits the ball dead straight...you just need to control the speed.

Would be great to also get the following impact and ball data: Dynamic Loft, Angle of Attack, Face, Path, Landing Angle. Thanks :)

I own both. Callaway’s is better. Their metal wood lineup across the board is king this year.

I love seeing these two clubs compared, as it seems like a decent option for those of us who need help off the tee but don't have the time for lessons and practice to actually fix driver... I'd love to see this repeated with the 11.5 degree options in both clubs to really get a sense what's a fairway replacement and what's a driver replacement.

Look at a Macgregor Titan 1, 2, 3

They are just fairway woods. If they are not, specify why not. Same head size as the older 1980-1990 drivers.

if they made they mini the same loft as the big driver then it would give competition. i have a 10* mini driver and it competes with my callaway epic that is 9*. find a mini driver with lower loft , then compare , it will blow your mind !

Why are you using an 8i for the Qi10 vs a 9i like the other two and then a 4i vs a 5i ? Why not apples to apples. This to me is misleading information when you're using different clubs to test distances.

Very suspicious about the trackman results. 360 yards for total distance, knowing that Rory Mcilroy and Bryson Deschambeau have an average distance of 335 yards. Its completly fake

Proper shoes are absolutely as important as properly fitted clubs. Most obvious on course vs a range mat. I'm a good 5-10 strokes lower HCP with spikes vs sneakers. Simply unplayable if there's dew/rain and you're hitting on any kind of slope. If you read greens with aim point, wearing not only the right shoes but the SAME shoes is important so you don't have different feel in your feet. Caveat, it might not make any difference if the player doesn't engage their lower body in the swing.

The problem, the white hot insert will sucker you into thinking it's super soft and it feels awesome in the store. Then, after a few weeks of playing, you begin to have distance control problems with the insert. So many better players end up not liking the insert because of the speed problems. The milled faces are just more consistent, so having this tech in a milled face is interesting. Although in reality, it's probably not much different than it evnroll has been doing for a while, just with a different approach to the face thickness

Excellent video. Please make many more. I have had amazing results with the stealth2 hd 5 wood myself. Really High ball flight but still straight with tight dispersion. A unicorn in the golf world. Crazy that Taylormade found a way to make it even better. I am considering a QI max 7 wood vs the ai smoke 4 hybrid. I demoed the hybrid. Consistency and Dispersion was insanely good. More of a piercing ball flight though. Not sure which one would make more sense.

In Australia our standard club competitions are Stapleford, so every Aussie knows how it works and understands it. Its so easy to understand and use. now with apps on phone being used for scoring, just need to enter gross score in app and it calculates stfd score for you. Its good to know which holes your get shots on so your game plan can be bogey golf on those holes.

most golf coaches would simply say to their student, chip it sideways back in fairway and get next shot on green, after all how many average golfers hit a lob wedge 100 yds. 95 % of players who try this shot will hit into tree, skinny shot or chunk shot trying to hit it too hard.

I finally received my irons and have played 3 rounds with them still adjusting to the yardages with them I really love the feel is excellent I’ve hit many great shots not strong lofted coming from ai smoke irons but it’s ok I absolutely love them

I have a question. There's some debate as to the correct position of the club face at parallel during the backswing. Even the best coaches seem to disagree. One side has it that the club face should be in a toe-up position, the other, it be slightly closed, to mimic perhaps the spine-angle. Don't argue with me, I'm ambivalent. Clearly, the GEM's creator believes in the toe-up position. My question is, if I want a slightly closed club face, can I set up the GEM so it feels 'right' in that position? Or does it only feel 'right' when toe-up? I've considered buying one but would like an answer to this first, and I may not be the only one. Thanks.

Head size anyone??? Have the black icons now but showing some wear and tear. But really obsessed with smaller head size irons. If these are oversized can someone verify ? If so think I’ll skip them sadly.

What shaft are you using?

These are lovely putters and I’ve had a shot of both in the shop. The milled face all day for me. The interesting thing for me with these putters and other clubs to be fair is where all the marketing hype will take us in the years to come! The AI claims are rather outlandish in my view but I guess it’s the golf world we live in.
